My story

Hello, I'm Olena!

I am 25 years old and I create under the name "Handmade by Olena".

I was born in Ukraine, but in December 2014 I decided to come to Slovenia, where my story begins. And it started in Maribor.

I've been crocheting for a couple of years, but my products only made it to the shelves of my closest friends.

I started to get more serious about my hobby in December 2020, crocheting baskets for home organization.

But the hobby quickly grew into a business, in May 2021 I registered my activity and officially started crocheting for you.

On May 1, 2025, I celebrated the 4th anniversary of Handmade by Olena.

As many as 200 owners from outside Slovenia and the EU carry handbags from under my hands all over Slovenia, even outside of it.
